Pilgrim satisfaction measurement for Hajj and Umrah service providers

Pilgrim satisfaction is measured at the moments a service is delivered, from arrival to departure, with one short question in the pilgrim's own language on a kiosk, QR code or SMS. Qmeter collects the answers per company, site and day.

For Hajj and Umrah companies, pilgrim affairs offices, accommodation and transport operators, and the authorities that evaluate them.

Qmeter runs multilingual visitor feedback for cultural institutions in Abu Dhabi and multi-branch service networks; the device app keeps collecting when the network is saturated.

A named person at Qmeter replies within one business day, in Arabic or English.

Why measure every day

The season is short, the evaluation is annual, and the pilgrim rarely complains

Three facts shape pilgrim feedback: the service window lasts days, the company rating lasts a year, and most guests will never fill in a form that is not in their language.

Satisfaction is now part of the company rating

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah evaluates companies serving foreign pilgrims each season and places them in tiers: Outstanding, Very Good and Good. Compliance carries 60% of the result and service quality 40%, and the inputs include field monitoring, documented evidence and pilgrim satisfaction assessments. A company that measures its own pilgrims daily is not surprised by the result.

Millions of guests, a few days of service

A problem noticed a week later is a season lost. Daily answers per site show the slow bus loading at one camp or the late catering at one hotel while there is still time to fix it for the next group.

Guests answer in their own language or not at all

Pilgrims arrive speaking Arabic, Urdu, Bahasa, Bengali, Turkish, French, English and dozens more. One tap on a face needs no language; the follow-up question appears in the language the pilgrim chose, and comments are translated for the team.

How it works

One question at each touchpoint, one owner for each problem, one report each morning

The same survey runs on every channel, so arrival, accommodation, transport, guidance, catering and departure are compared on equal terms; every low rating goes to the person responsible, and the record stays available to an evaluating authority.

01

Ask at the moment of service

Kiosks or tablets at the arrival hall, hotel reception and camp entrance; QR codes on the room card, the bus seat and the meal voucher; an SMS after check-out. One question, three to five faces, an optional "why".

02

Turn a low rating into a case

An unhappy answer opens a case for the site supervisor with a deadline. If it is not resolved in time it moves up to company management. Every step is written to an audit trail, as described on the closed-loop ticketing page.

03

Report by company, site and day

A scheduled report arrives each morning with satisfaction by touchpoint, open cases and the day's comments. The same data exports as the documented evidence an evaluation asks for.

In the field

Built for crowded halls, weak networks and short seasons

Hardware and software that keep working when 20,000 people share one cell tower.

Devices that keep collecting offline

The Qmeter device app stores answers on the tablet when the connection drops and uploads them when it returns. The device list shows battery, connectivity and the last heartbeat per site, so a silent kiosk is noticed the same morning, not after the season.

  • Offline queue with automatic sync
  • Battery and connectivity per device
  • Kiosk mode: one question, no navigation
  • Tablets you already own or devices on a licence

The morning picture, by site and service

Satisfaction by touchpoint, trend by day, comments translated with AI and the number of open cases per site on one dashboard. Management sees every company and site; a site supervisor sees only their own.

  • Satisfaction per touchpoint and per day
  • Comments in any language, translated for the team
  • Role-based views per company and site
  • Scheduled PDF and Excel reports

Who uses it

One platform for the companies, the organisers and the evaluators

Each party sees the part of the journey it is responsible for; the authority can see the whole.

Hajj and Umrah service companies

Pilgrim affairs offices and organisers

Compare the companies you contract on the same questions, and give each one its own daily report.

Accommodation and transport operators

A QR code in every room and on every bus seat, a kiosk at reception, and an alert when a group is unhappy before it leaves.

Authorities and evaluators

Field satisfaction data per company and site, with timestamps and an audit trail, hosted in the Kingdom or on your own servers.

How is pilgrim satisfaction measured in practice?›

At the moment of service, with one short question on a kiosk, tablet, QR code or SMS: how was arrival, the room, the bus, the meal. Answers are stored per company, site, group and day, and low ratings go to the person who can fix the problem that day.
